Smoking Brisket

Spent the day smoking brisket & sausage and selling $3 lunches as a fund raiser for our church mens group outside the local Wal-Mart. Not sure how much money was raised, but we had a lot fun and fellowship.

The visit was short and sweet last week.

Snow day

Ok, not much by the standards of any other place we have lived, but it snowed in the Austin area last Tuesday, and the schools let out early so the kids could go see it! The roads were warm from it being 75 on Sunday so the snow did not stick, but it was fun!
